FISH has been providing food, clothing and emergency financial assistance for necessary utility bills and security deposits to economically challenged households within the Pennridge School District since 1972.

People come to us from all walks of life, often facing the challenges of unemployment, disability, single-parenting, mental health, addiction recovery, homelessness, or aging on a fixed income.

It is our goal at FISH to treat each person who seeks our assistance with dignity, grace and kindness. We want our clients to feel supported to move forward in life. We want them to know that someone cares, that someone notices what they are going through, and that someone is here to offer basic support with food, clothing and other resources that can help them get back up and try again at this challenging thing called life.

While we do not offer full social services, our office staff is able to help you find many resources to aid you in your journey toward economic self-sufficiency.

Some general information about our services:

Identification with a Pennridge address is required for all clients. When registering with FISH, please bring your Photo ID, along with your lease or a current utility bill to verify your Pennridge address.
Identification is also required for all children in your household. Children will not be added to your food or clothing card until appropriate ID for each child is presented.
