4,151 pounds of food were collected by several Pennridge schools and businesses on March 8th in support of the United Way of Bucks County Operation Helping Hand Food Drive.
Pennridge FISH has successfully completed its building fund pledge drive begun in 2012. FISH would like to thank the community for its generous support of its mission to serve those in need in our community.
The 2016 Stamp Out Hunger Letter Carrier Food Drive brought in 3,682 lbs of food. While this number is down from last year by about 1,400 lbs., we are still incredibly grateful to the community and to the Sellersville and Perkasie Post Offices for collecting for FISH!
Many thanks to Ciocca Ford of Souderton for holding a Fill-The-Truck Event in March to benefit the Pennridge FISH food pantry. Mr. Ciocca generously donated $500 to help support our mission! Thank you to all who participated in making the food drive a success!
On April 19th, Pennridge FISH volunteers and community leaders held a luncheon at First United Methodist Church in Perkasie to honor Ted von Mechow's more than 42 years of service through FISH to low-income families in the Pennridge School District.
Many thanks to the letter carriers, community members and volunteers who made this year's drive a success! More than 5,500 lbs of food were donated to FISH this year through your generosity.
