Pennridge FISH would like to thank all of the Pennridge schools and businesses that participated in the 2018 Operation Helping Hand Food Drive last week. Students and employees collected a total of 2,447 pounds of food for the FISH food pantry! You all did an amazing job!
Guth Elementary School came out on top with a whopping 1,138 pounds donated.
A big shout out to all of our FISH volunteers who helped pick up and sort all that food!
We would also like to thank the United Way of Bucks County, Bucks County Opportunity Council, and Inspire Federal Credit Union for organizing this successful countywide food drive that supports so many hungry families in our communities.
General OHH Food Drive Information:
Operation Helping Hand is a food drive organized by the United Way of Bucks County to benefit food pantries throughout the county.
All donations collected in Pennridge schools and businesses stay in Pennridge.
Students attending participating schools should bring food donations to school on the designated food drive day each year in March.
FISH volunteers will then pick up the food items and deliver them to the pantry.
Please help spread the word to make this a great food drive.
FISH needs your food donation support! Thank you!!
Please contact the United Way of Bucks County or Bucks County Opportunity Council if your school or business would like to participate.
